If you've ever used a carburetor before you will know what a pain it can be to get the mixture right, especially if you are starting from scratch and don't have any experience. The first thing to do is to put the fuel into the tank, then start to pump the air in as you slowly mix in the carburetor into the air filter. This should take about 15 seconds.

Now put in the throttle and let the Suzuki DT40 do the work for you. You need to keep an eye on the carburetor, check that the needle on the car is pointing in the right direction. When it's pointing in the right direction, you can start pumping in the air and slowly mix the carburetor into the air filter. Keep doing this until you are satisfied that the needle is pointing to the right.

If your carburetor starts to overheat you should switch the carburetor off, then restart the process until you are comfortable that the needle is pointing the right way. After a while the needle should start to get away from your carburetor and you should be able to get more air into the air filter. At this point you will have found that the mixture is a little richer and can easily get the mixture right. You should find that the fuel mix is a little leaner as well, but still not too much.

Remember that you should always keep your carburetor clean. Make sure to change the oil often and clean off the filter regularly, especially if you ride a motorcycle with a lot of gas.

When you feel comfortable that the mixture is perfect, you can stop topping up the fuel and move on to the next step and use the air filter to ensure that the carburetor is working correctly. You will need to clean the air filter out after each use and replace it with a fresh one. Another way to clean the air filter is to use an alcohol wipe and water solution. You can either wipe the filter off or you can just use alcohol wipes and a wet cloth.
